Restless Dreams
Part 1

Opening scene: Planet Genus

The skies are darkened by the clouds due to the never ending rains, the 
streets are fill with water and swamp grass , lighting’s thunder  are 
the only thing that can be heard.

Inside of an abandon building…

Vergil: So is everyone set for the operation?

A group of shadowy beings nod.

Vergil: Excellent, now meet up with Tatayanna on Saint Paul Street in 
half an hour.

Vortez appears from behind

Vortez: are you sure about this? , I mean is this the right thing to 
do?

Vergil: look, it’s clear to me now that it’s my brother who’s behind 
Felicia’s kidnapping, and also the only way I’m going to get more data 
on that thing that attacked Katrina is by helping Fritz a little bit.

Vortez: a little? , we are practically taking the planet back from him.

Vergil: it may seem that way, but we are the distraction, it’s his 
subordinates that are going to take the planet back.

Vortez: and how are we going to distract an armada?

Vergil: simple we are going to attack the weapon research institute and 
after that we will hack the security system to the point that not even 
Komplex will find anything on his radar.

Vortez: so, we are blinding them?

Vergil : exactly, but its not going to be easy, first we need Ridley is 
signal to start this little play of deceit., and also we need someone 
to make sure the frigates get through the reprogrammed defense system, 
that’s were Pearl comes into picture.


Vortez (concerned): She?!?  , Lord Vergil, I mean no disrespect but 
she’s ….

Vergil: Beautiful and deadly, I know

Vortez: No I meant that she’ll probably get distracted; she has an 
affinity to one of the Righteous indignation’s crew members.

Vergil: Yes… but I have warned her about failing, so she won’t fail. 

Vortez: … I have a bad felling about this.

Scene 1 Planet Genus, Saint Paul Street

A giant bolt of lighting strikes the grounds

Tatayanna: alright, every one here got their objectives?

More than thirty figures nod.

Tatayanna: excellent, now lets move out.

Tatayanna and her squadron move into the sewers

Scene 2 Planet Genus, Orbit

The Righteous Indignation is holding its position near Genus. Bucky’s 
is looking at Genus and remembers how his Planet was transform into 
swamp.

Bucky: We will get those toads back for what they did.

Jenny: Bucky there’s an incoming transmission coming from Genus.

Bucky: Put it through.

Incoming Transmission’s Voice: so your finally here, took you long 
enough, I was starting to wonder that you didn’t care.

Jenny: that voice? ...

Bucky: We don’t have time to play games, is everything set?
 
Incoming Transmission’s Voice: Yes everyone is position and awaiting 
orders form Vergil.

Jenny: I knew I recognize that voice…..Cassie, aren’t you suppose to be 
dead.

Cassie: it will take more than cheap tricks to silence me.

Bucky interrupt the conversation

Bucky: You two need to concentrate on what’s important here.

Jenny: Sorry Captain.

Cassie laughs in her transmission

Cassie: well then see you around cousin; please do make it alive, I 
would like to take your life myself.

Cassie cuts off her transmission.

Bucky: (sigh) some things never change.
 
Jenny: To me she’s like a never ending nightmare.

Bucky: I have a feeling this is going to be one hell of an operation.

Bucky press the intercom on the ship

Bucky: all hands ready for battlestations!

Below the Righteous Indignation’s cockpit

Deadeye: aaah Music to me ears Bucky my boy.

Bruiser: (exited) I can’t wait to stomp those toads to little pieces.

Willy: Bruiser what would ever happen to you if the toad wars ended 
today?

Deadeye: He’ll probably go bananas.

Bruiser: That’s it ill start my own Banana Shop.

Deadeye and Willy sigh at the same time.

Scene 3   Planet Genus resort area

The entire area is now under water due to the rains.
 
Ridley: it has been a while…

Toad Borg: indeed…

Ridley: why do you have to be Komplex’s puppet?

Toad Borg: Ridley, you are probably the only one who knew better in the 
past, but now I ‘am only loyal to Komplex.

Ridley grins

Ridley: You are bad as ever, in telling lies.

Toad Borg: …

Ridley: Right now the mammals are launching an attack…

Toad Borg: What?!? Then I must report to Komplex.

Ridley: I could be lying you know…

Toad Borg: what game are you playing Ridley?

Ridley: Destiny is a good game, wouldn’t you agreed?

Toad Borg: Ridley…just let it go, I’m no longer the toad you once knew.

Ridley: Really? ….then, take off your face plate I said that to me with 
your own eyes and voice.

Toad Borg starts pressing some switches from his arm and some steam 
comes from his face plate, Toad Borg then removes his face plate, 
revealing a light green toad with a crescent moon shape scar on his 
left eye. Toad Borg then stares at Ridley.

Toad Borg: I…

Ridley: You see, you can’t shake off your past from your mind.

Toad Borg: If I betray Komplex I’m nobody, and will be treated as 
traitor and a mam-

Ridley: Yes, but you will be freed from his orders and you will have a 
bigger purpose on the aniverse and ---

Toad Borg: You mean by taking orders from a mammal, ill rather be 
executed.

Ridley: who said anything about a mammal, you’re my chosen and that’s 
mean that you will take orders from me and me alone.

Toad Borg: …

Ridley:  Do it for me…”Moon Scar” 

Toad Borg steps back and put his helmet back on. And starts charging 
his plasma beams, from his fingers, Ridley stares at him in concerned 
and a large green flash is seen on the background.

Ridley looks around and notice she’s not harm, but when she looks back 
she sees four burn bodies when she checks she realize they are storm  
toads. Toad Borg appears form behind and put his left arm on Ridley’s 
left shoulder.

Toad Borg: Let’s hurry up before Komplex finds about our little plot.

Ridley: (smiling) that won’t be a problem.

Ridley holds out a remote control and press some switches and the 
entire planet goes into a black out.

Toad Borg: (amaze) impressive!

Ridley: this is nothing, I could hack the entire aniverse if I wanted 
too.

Toad Borg removes his face plate helmet.

Toad Borg: I’m not going to need it anymore…

Ridley smiles and runs off with Toad Borg towards the target point.

Scene 4 Genus, Space port

The entire port is now under heavy security, there are storm toads on 
every corner, all of them are wearing night vision goggles, but the 
fail to notice a figure running pass them.  

Alexia: (wheezing) I guess Ridley’s hacking hasn’t rust one bit.

One toad leaves his post unguarded and alexia moves through the opened 
hatch on the toad double bubble.

Alexia: lest see I had to put this thingy here and then pull this lever 
up and after that I had to enter the codes, and….uh…hmm.

Alexia pulls a communicator out and calls someone. I figure picks up 
his communicator.

Vergil: Yeah what is it?

Vergil: No, uhmm, what?!?

Vergil: just input the codes and retreat to the target area.

Vergil hangs his communicator. But he gets another call form Alexia.

Vergil: yes? It’s on top of the old UAC headquarters.

Vergil hangs his communicator and puts it inside his cloak, Cassie then 
enters the room.

Cassie: Everything is set.

Vergil: excellent, just be careful out there.

Cassie smirks.

Cassie: like I need an advice from you.

Vergil laughs

Vergil: just don’t come crying to me, when your face gets scar for 
life.

Cassie is about to shoot him with spark spell. 

Vergil: you know pretty well that won’t kill me.

Cassie: I don’t know why I even hang out with you.

Vergil gives another laugh.

Vergil: because you can’t make your dreams come true without me.

Cassie grins

Cassie: likewise…

Vergil: anyway its time for us to take our places, and take this planet 
back form the toads.

Scene 5 Genus, Orbit

Inside the Righteous Indignation

Bucky: attention all hands, battle stations

Deadeye: Time for old Deadeye to croak some toadies

Willy: oh boy…

Bruiser: C’mon little Willy its time to do some croaking.

AFC Blinky: this humble unit is ready for combat.

Two figures appear from the shadows behind Bucky and Jenny.

Carl: we are here to assist you in anyway possible Captain.

(Carl is wearing a bronze colored armor)

Bucky: Glad to have you onboard.

The other figure is covered up in white silk dress. And has a white 
mask, resembling an evil cat spirit.

Pearl: the pleasure is ours, Captain.

Jenny senses some weird vibes from both of them. But she feels they 
mean no harm.

Bucky: we shall strike the capital as plan, and if everything goes 
well, we may have our long awaited vacation.

In unison: let’s croak toads!!!

The Righteous Indignation rushes towards the Toad Space armada 
commanded by Captain Smatta.

Scene 7   Inside a toad mother ship.

Smatta: (smirking) what are those fur balls trying to do?

Storm toad: Sir they are trying to get through!!!

Smatta: (smirking) well what are you waiting for?!? Blast them into 
star dust!!!!

Storm toad: Ye…yes sir!!!

Smatta: (smirking) oooh I’m going be promoted by Komplex by the end of 
this day!

The Righteous Indignation starts basting toad double bubbles one after 
the other, until the Toad Mother ship starts basting the Righteous 
Indignation, the bast are so strong it cripples the frigate.

Smatta: (smirking) say good night Captain O’Hare.

As the toad mother was about to Blast the frigate in Space dust, 
another frigate comes form behind and starts blasting the toad mother 
ship’s thrusters leaving the ship immobilize.
Smatta: (concerned) what’s going on? 

Storm toad: sir our thrusters, they have been destroy!!
 
Storm toad 2: sir we are loosing power in the main guns!!

Smatta: (scared) what?  (Angry) who is responsible for this?

Strom toad 1: sir we are getting a transmission form the other frigate.

Smatta: (embarrass) put it in…

A large image of Commander Dogstar can be seen on the front screen.

Dogstar: this is Commander Dogstar form The Indefatigable to toad 
Mother ship, you are to surrender and leave Genusian space at once.

Storm toad 2: sir your orders?

Smatta: (smirking) you destroy our ship’s thrusters, how can’t we move 
from here?

Dogstar: well I suggest you retreat in double bubbles, before we start 
shooting your ship till there’s nothing left.

Smatta: (gulp) well, you heard the man, let’s get out of here!!!

Toads start to leave the mother ship in double bubbles en masses.

Dogstar: are you ok Bucky my boy? , is your crew all right?

Bucky:  yes we all are ok, thanks to you.

Dogstar: splendid, now lets go and take our home back and show Komplex 
how hard we mammals can be. Yes, quite a mission this one is going to 
be.

The two frigates move toward the toad infested planet.
