BUCKY O'HARE TRANSFORMERS The next morning saw Hiro and BayMax the robot healthcare companion making their way to Autobot headquarters since Hamada Junior wanted to see how Bucky and comrades weathered out the storm the night before. BAYMAX: I bet they were really shook up when the storm hit without warning. HIRO: Yeah, Bucky must've figured Triax was attacking his base. BAYMAX: Thunder and lightning must be unknown on their home planet Warren so it must be a strange world. HIRO: We'll find out soon enough. Moments later they came into sight of the Autobot base and starship still sitting in the same place where it came to rest previously. Hamada Junior approached the fortress the inflatable robot waddling behind him...then Hiro was about to knock or ring the doorbell so to speak when it slid open startling the micro-robotics inventor. BAYMAX: Oh no... Into view emerged Bucky Hare who recognized Hiro. BUCKY: Hey-hey-hey! Nice to see you again Hiro. HIRO: Hey there, Autobot leader. BAYMAX: Greetings... BUCKY: Ah, BayMax. Welcome to headquarters. BAYMAX: How are things coming along? BUCKY: Same as always this is a strange planet, this Earth of yours. HIRO: That's because he was thinking of something like that. BAYMAX: Affirmative, I believe you are not familiar with thunder and lightning storms on your home planet. BUCKY: Eh? By that time the rest of his gang exited the base looking around as if expecting another sneak attack from their enemy at any second. Suddenly Rocket Raccoon the bounty hunter noticed something odd. ROCKET: Look at that mountain! It did not look like that yesterday. JENNY: Oh my god! DEAD-EYE: Blistering barnacles! NICK: Half of it's gone! HIRO: It was struck by lightning from the storm last night. When he said that the magic mutants gave shocked-surprised looks. ARIES: You mean those bright flashes we saw? LUPE: Whatever it was, it must've been really powerful. BAYMAX: Yes, lightning is powerful and dangerous. It can damage or destroy buildings, start forest fires. A small bolt packs a hefty punch. Bucky looked thoughtful as he pondered this new mystery. He and his gang were seeking energy resources to save their planet and end the war-games with the Decepticons. Could the answer lie in lightning he asked himself? BUCKY: How much do you know about lightning? BAYMAX: It is comprised of electricity that is found in the atmosphere of our planet. SALLY: That is new. Never heard of anything like it. BUCKY: We have electricity on Warren. But it does not fall from the sky to damage or destroy things. We harness its power to create magic and life. HIRO: Great Scott! There's no way to control something dangerous as lightning. A single flash is about a million megawatts. JUDY: We learned to deal with powers you cannot begin to imagine. HIRO: Good grief... NICK: You got that right dude. BUCKY: This is a chance we cannot afford to miss or pass up. The Autobots must be ready for the next storm to come. ARIES: And that is where I come in, ahem! I believe I can construct a machine that will capture lightning then convert into an energy source. The chief engineer described in full detail how he would build an invention that would not only capture lightning during another thunderstorm but actually create energy from its power too. ARIES: That way we can use it to repair our starship. KEN: Sounds like a good plan to me. SALLY: Go for it Aries. BUCKY: Just remember it must be ready for testing before the next storm. ARIES: Yes sir! HIRO: Oh my god... BAYMAX: Oh no... Then the mutant ram set about collecting the necessary tools and materials he would need for his top secret project then was on his way in a matter of speaking to select a secluded site to begin working on his invention. While he was gone the other Autobots took that moment to accompany Hiro and BayMax into the city of San Fransokyo to hangout and explore its many attractions so to speak. That is when Honey Lemon, Fred, GoGo Tomago and Wasabi joined the magic mutants of Warren as they visited the many attractions of the city...Hop-on/Hop-off Bus Tours, Electric Street-car rides, Cable Car rides and the Cable Car Museum, Pier 39, Madame Tussard's Wax Museum, Musee Mechanique Arcade, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum, etc. Then it was time for lunch as Bucky and gang dined at the Lucky Cat restaurant-bistro owned by Cassidy Hamada who was delighted to have the Autobots of Warren enjoy her home-cooking that is...then have ice cream treats at Ghiradelli Square afterwards. Now the Autobots and Big Hero 6 paused to rest a spell and watch people come and go, traffic come and go that is. LUPE: This is a wonderful city. So much to see and do. JENNY: Yes, very pretty too. HONEY: Exactly. So you magic mutants do not get bored while on our world. DEAD-EYE: Who, us? Get bored, nonsense. SALLY: Oh really... when there's nothing to do while waiting for Triax to make his next move, eh? DEAD-EYE: Okay, okay...forget I said it. KEN: BUCKY: GOGO: That's Alcatraz Island out there. JUDY: What is it? WASABI: A former prison facility used to house the worst criminals in the 20th Century. FRED: Yeah, really bad guys. NICK: Oh... HIRO: From 1934 to the day it opened as a prison to 1963 when it closed its doors for good...Alcatraz locked up gangsters, kidnappers, bank robbers, crime bosses, etc. BUCKY: Holy smokes! I did not know that. The kids told about the inmates who did time on the Rock from Al Capone, George Machine Gun Kelly, Robert Stroud the Birdman of Alcatraz, Bumpy Johnson, Rafel Cancel Miranda, Mickey Cohen, Arthur "Doc" Barker, James "Whitey" Bulger, to Alvin "Creepy" Karpis. Of the inmates who tried to escape but failed, captured or shot dead by wardens, the Battle for Alcatraz in 1946, the successful escape of three inmates in 1962 who were never seen or heard from again. HIRO: Now it is a tourist site where visitors like us explore its cell blocks and learn of what it was like doing time. WASABI: Either guided tours by park rangers who know everything about Alcatraz or self guided audio tours. JENNY: Wow, makes me want to visit that place sometime. BUCKY: Maybe another time when we're not busy fighting Triax Kahn and the Decepticons. GOGO: FRED: Anytime you Autobots want to visit Alcatraz we'll be happy to take you ourselves. DEAD-EYE: Arr, it's a deal mate. HONEY: Cool... Soon after the Autobots made their way back to their fortress in the Muir Woods again as O'Hare got in touch with Mayor Lionheart, Chief Bogo and King Acorn updating them on the status report of the mission. BOGO: So Aries is going to build an invention to capture lightning? MAX: This is new. BUCKY: He claims he can convert it into energy. LIONHEART: Then I wish him the best of luck. Maybe I'll be there in person, in holographic form that is to witness the test run. BOGO: Me too... MAX: Count me in. BUCKY: Of course, sire. I guarantee it will be a success. The three leaders of Zootopia agreed then faded away when the transmission ended. O'Hare then settled down inside his quarters as he relived a long time ago when he, Dead-Eye, Jenny, Bruiser and terran (human) engineer William DuWitt clashed with the Toad Empire and its evil computer warlord Komplex. BUCKY: Ah, those were the good old days. I wonder what Willy is up to? It's been awhile since he returned to his own world and I never saw nor heard from him. What he did not know was that William now a grown man was the owner and properitor of Musee Mechanique Arcade the museum that housed antique coin-operated consoles of the 1900s along with video games of the New Millennium decades too. BUCKY: Maybe I can contact him and chit-chat for awhile, catch up on lost memories. He did just that...and was soon chatting with William DuWitt who was happy to see his mutant friend again and they relived the clashes with the Toad Stormtroopers and so forth. WILLY: I had no idea you could transform into cars and trucks. Where did you learn that kind of magic? BUCKY: Let's say we were visited by robot machines called Autobots or rather the ghost spirits who came from another galaxy far away. Optimus Prime the Autobot leader taught me and friends how to change into vehicles. WILLY: Wow, just like the TransFormers franchise I used to watch as a young boy. Optimus Prime VS Megatron. BUCKY: Cool...hope to see you again soon enough. WILLY: No sweat, drop in anytime for a spell. TO BE CONTINUED...
